This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on slotmap.space, why they are used, and how you can manage your preferences. It complies with the EU GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA.
1. Why we do not use Google AdSense
You may notice that our advertising network is not Google AdSense. This is by design. AdSense’s program policies prohibit the placement of AdSense ads on pages whose primary content is real-money gambling, casino games, or similar gambling-related material. Because our editorial focus is online casino reviews, AdSense is not an option for us, and the cookies AdSense would otherwise set (DSID, IDE, NID, __gads, __gpi) do not appear on our Site.
Instead, our advertising is served by Adsterra, an advertising network that accepts gambling-vertical publishers under appropriate compliance frameworks. The cookies Adsterra sets are listed in section 3 below.
2. Cookie categories
We classify cookies into three categories:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to function (session management, security tokens, consent state, age-gate state). Set without consent under the legal-basis exemption for technically necessary processing.

4. Adsterra and your data
Adsterra is operated by Geozo Ltd. Adsterra processes data including IP address, browser characteristics, page-view events, and ad-interaction events to deliver advertising and measure performance. Adsterra’s full processing is described in Adsterra’s privacy policy. Adsterra is GDPR-compliant for EU traffic and provides opt-out mechanisms.
5. Affiliate-network cookies
When you click an affiliate link to a reviewed operator, the operator’s affiliate network may set a cookie or use a tracking parameter to attribute the referral. These cookies are set in the affiliate network’s domain, not ours, and are subject to the affiliate network’s own privacy policy. Common networks in our niche include Income Access (Paysafe Group), NetRefer, Affilka (SOFTSWISS), and MyAffiliates. The full list relevant to a specific operator is named in the operator’s review or partnership disclosure.
