Our Mission
SlotMap was founded with a simple goal: help players find safe, fair, and entertaining online casinos while filtering out the operators that fail basic standards of licensing, security, or customer treatment. The online gambling landscape contains thousands of casino sites, and the difference between a great experience and a frustrating one comes down to details most players never have time to research.
That is what we do — full-time, methodically, and independently.

Our Methodology
Every casino in our database goes through a multi-step assessment:
- Licensing check — we verify the operator’s license number directly with the issuing authority.
- Hands-on registration — we sign up and verify the KYC process, withdrawal flow, and customer service responsiveness.
- Bonus testing — we read the full terms and conditions and flag predatory clauses (high wagering, game restrictions, max-bet limits during bonus play).
- Game variety audit — we count actual unique games, not duplicates with different skins.
- Withdrawal test — we make a small withdrawal to confirm cashout times match what is advertised.
- Player feedback monitoring — we track complaints on independent forums (AskGamblers, Casinomeister, ThePOGG) and adjust ratings if we see patterns.
Reviews are re-audited at least every six months. When a casino’s circumstances change significantly — new license, new ownership, change in software providers — we flag it and re-test.
Editorial Independence
SlotMap earns revenue through affiliate commissions and display advertising. This funding model does not influence our rankings. A casino can pay us nothing and still be ranked highly if it meets our criteria; a casino can pay generous commissions and still be marked as “avoid” if our testing reveals problems.
We refuse to publish sponsored reviews disguised as editorial content. Any sponsored material on the site is clearly labelled as such.
